All objects in the universe radiate light in the form of light waves. As humans, we only see a small percentage of these objects due to the limitations of our eyes. Advances in technology and the digital imaging revolution have changed this for us. Now we can see images that were invisible to us before.
Understanding both the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS), which is the name given to the different
types of light, and the functions of a digital camera, are stepping stones to grasping how
our "invisible universe" is being graphically unveiled before our very eyes.
